Unilever Nigeria 2025 Half Year Impressive  Performance Drives 50 kobo Interim Dividend Declaration

Unilever Nigeria Plc released its unaudited results for the period ended June 30, 2025, showcasing a remarkable improvement in performance.

The company has declared an interim dividend of N0.50 kobo for every ordinary share of 50 kobo each, further supported by sustained growth in cash to N83.70 billion.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) skyrocketed to N2.19, driven by solid top-line growth of 61.8% year-on-year.

The strong performance was driven by significant price increases and moderate volume expansion across the Food Products, Personal Care, and Beauty & Wellbeing segments.

Market analyst’s observed that the company’s ability to successfully implement price hikes and achieve moderate volume expansion reflects its brand superiority and deeper market penetration.

The company’s gross margin expanded by 525bps year-on-year to 45.5%, amid slower growth in costs.

Unilever Nigeria Plc profit before tax surged by 596.6% to N13.40 billion, while profit after tax rose to N8.01 billion.

Industry watchers believed that with cost optimization measures in place, Unilever Nigeria is well positioned to sustain its performance for the rest of 2025, amid improving macroeconomic conditions.
