The event was a collaborative effort between prominent Nigerian regulatory bodies and professional services firms, including the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), NGX Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo), and EY.

The training aimed to help preparers understand ISSB requirements, promoting standardized sustainability reporting. Participants gained valuable insights into best practices for ISSB-aligned reporting.

Ken Egbas is known for his role in public relations and has been involved in recognizing corporate social responsibility efforts, as seen in organizing the SERAS Awards.
