The Centre for Media and Communication Research (CMCR) at Pan-Atlantic University, in partnership with the NNPC Foundation, is set to host the NNPC Foundation Symposium on Energy and Sustainable Environment Communication.

The two-day event will take place on May 22-23, 2025, at the university’s main campus.

The symposium aims to explore solutions on how environmental communication can mitigate issues of energy and climate change in Nigeria.

This initiative is part of the NNPC Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, focused on promoting sustainable development of the Nigerian ecosystem.

Renowned speakers, including Prof. Abdullahi Bashir, Mr. Martins Ojo, and Prof. Nuhu Gapsiso, will share their expertise on the subject matter.

Participants from various media and academic backgrounds, such as Mr. Thomas Samuel and Dr. Rasaq Adisa, are expected to attend.
