Nigerian Stock Market Extends Winning Streak, Up 0.30%.

The Nigerian stock market continued its upward trend, with the NGX All-Share Index rising by 0.30% to close at 99,966.28 points.

The gain was driven by strong investor interest in stocks such as Zenith Bank, Presco, Transcorp, FBN Holdings, MTN Nigeria, Access Bank, Dangote Sugar, UBA, and GTCO.

The market’s year-to-date return stood at 33.69%, with a total market capitalization of N56.61 trillion.

Investor wealth increased by N167.10 billion, despite a 13.89% decline in trading volume to 362.43 million units. However, the value of trades rose by 8.02% to N7.37 billion.”
