The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has expressed concerns over the potential economic implications of the proposed nationwide ban on single-use plastics.

In a recent report which was made available to Financial Edge, MAN highlighted the significant impact on businesses across various sectors, including manufacturing, packaging, and consumer goods.

The association warned that the ban could lead to substantial investments in research and development, supply chain disruptions, and potential job losses.
