The Nigerian equities market ended the trading session on a flat note, with the NGX All-Share Index closing at 99,802.08 points, unchanged from the previous session.
The market’s performance was driven by selling pressure in 18 stocks, including Oando, UBA, Zenith Bank, GTCO, FCMB, and Access Bank.
Despite the negative sentiment, market activity was mixed, with volume traded increasing by 121.24% to 935.15 million units, while value traded decreased by 77.96% to N11.89 billion.
As a result, investor wealth decreased by N2.18 billion, with the market capitalization closing at N56.46 trillion. The year-to-date return settled at 33.47%.
