Unilever Nigeria Plc has released its fourh result for the period ended December 31, 2025, showing a strong performance with earnings per share (EPS) of N1.52, up 78.7% year-on-year.
The company’s unaudited revenue grew by 29.1% year-on-year, driven by pricing-led growth and efficiency gains.
The Beauty & Wellbeing segment led the growth, increasing 89.3% year-on-year, while the Personal Care segment grew 74.9% year-on-year.
The company’s cost optimization efforts paid off, with cost of sales increasing only 1.8% year-on-year, leading to a gross margin expansion of 15.21 percentage points year-on-year to 43.3%.
Net finance income also surged 627.6% year-on-year to NGN2.20 billion, driven by strong finance income growth.
The company’s profit before tax rose 85.0% year-on-year, with profit after tax increasing 78.7% year-on-year.
Unilever Nigeria’s effective pricing strategy, disciplined cost optimization, and active treasury management are expected to drive growth in 2026.
