Seplat Energy Plc, in collaboration with Eloh Consulting Limited, hosted a two days stakeholders engagement, themed “Media Entrepreneurs Programme,” in Lagos.
The program aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of media professionals, equipping them to effectively navigate the complexities of the industry.
Prominent media personalities, including Odume Festus, Editorial/Project Director, Financial Edge, and Friday Ekeoba, Team Lead National Wire/Chairman Capital Market Correspondent Association Of Nigeria (CAMCAN), participated in the program.
Stanley Opara, Manager, Corporate Communications, Seplat Energy Plc, represented the company at the event, highlighting Seplat Energy’s commitment empowering media professionals and promoting informed reporting of the economy.
The event also featured the Lagos state heads of key security agencies, including the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC), Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), and Department of State Security (DSS).
These agencies engaged with media practitioners on how they can collaborate to promote economic and national development. The Media Entrepreneurs Programme is part of Seplat Energy’s efforts to promote excellence in media reporting and capacity building in the industry.
