C & I Leasing Plc has notifies the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NzGX) and the investing public of a delay in the filing of its 2023 annual financial statements.

The Company had envisaged and made requisite plans to ensure the approvals for filing were obtained before the regulatory filing deadline.

The Company’s operations are guided by multiple regulators for different aspects of its services to various industries, which has delayed the filing even though the financial reports are up to date.

C & I Leasing understands the importance of prompt release of the audited report and anticipates filing the financial statements by 31 July 2024.

In accordance with the Exchange’s rules, we can only file the 2024 unaudited financial statements after filing the 2023 audited financial statements.

Thus, the delay will also impact on the submissions of the 2024 quarterly unaudited financial statements. The Company is however, optimistic that these financial statements will be released by 31 July 2024.
