The Nigerian stock market kicked off the trading week on a positive note, with the NGX All-Share Index (ASI) gaining 7 basis points to close at 100,568.60 points.
This uptrend was driven by investor interest in stocks like Fidelity Bank, GTCO, Julius Berger, UBA, Zenith Bank, and 18 others.
As a result, the year-to-date return rose to 34.50%, and the market capitalization increased by ₦37.03 billion to ₦35.95 trillion.
However, market activity decreased, with volume and value traded dropping by 14.53% and 55.39%, respectively.
