The Nigerian equities market continued its downward trend, with the NGX All-Share Index losing 12 basis points to close at 100,365.17 points.
This decline was driven by investor sell-offs in stocks like UBA, Dangote Sugar, FBN Holdings, Access Corporation, Transcorp, Oando, and 15 others.
The market capitalization decreased by N56.83 billion to N56.83 trillion, with the year-to-date return settling at 34.23%.
However, market activity saw a significant increase, with volume and value traded rising by 77.22% and 137.35%, respectively.
