In a stakeholder engagement/ press conference in Lagos, NGX Group Managing Director, Temi Popoola, highlighted the platform’s features, including payment gateways, KYC processes, and brokerage account management, offering a seamless and paperless experience.
The platform aims to digitize the entire investment process, improving efficiency and reducing reconciliation issues.
SEC Director General, Dr. Emomotimi Agama, assured stakeholders of the commission’s support for innovations that develop the market.
He emphasized the importance of adapting to the younger generation’s technological savvy to achieve the goal of a $1 trillion economy.
The Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Managing Director, Haruna Jalo-Waziri, commended the innovation, anticipating a positive impact on the economy and deepening of the market.
