The Board of Directors of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc met on Thursday January 7, 2021, to consider the proposal to raise fresh equity capital.
Although, details of the proposal where not disclosed, this coming at a time local pharmaceuticals companies received health sector support from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) due to the effects of Covid-19 Pandemic.

However, market watchers are of the view that the planned equity capital raise by Nemeith, is part of the strategies to reposition the company to play greater roles in the healthcare industry and deliver better returns on investment to shareholders.
