Fidson Healthcare and Jiangsu Aidea Pharmaceutical has announced a strategic cooperation to address medical challenges in Nigeria and Africa, focusing on innovative drug treatments for over 1.9 million HIV-infected individuals.

The collaboration involves sharing resources, technical expertise, and market positions, encompassing product manufacturing, promotions, sales, and clinical research.

Fidson Healthcare, established in 1995 and listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 2008, is the largest pharmaceutical company in Nigeria.

Aidea Pharma, founded in 2009 and listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2020, specializes in anti-HIV drugs with a commitment to research and development.

The collaboration is anticipated to drive growth, boost local pharmaceutical manufacturing in Nigeria, and elevate healthcare standards in Africa.
