The Nigerian stock market ended the week on a positive note, with the NGX All-Share Index increasing by 20 basis points to close at 99,671.28 points.
The market’s upswing was driven by investor interest in stocks such as Honeywell Flour Mills, Seplat, Presco, Fidelity Bank, and GTCO, among others.
As a result, the year-to-date return rose to 33.30%, and the overall market capitalization increased by N172.88 billion to N56.44 trillion, indicating a boost in investor wealth.
Market activity was also positive, with volume and value traded rising by 41.84% and 25.20% to 420.90 million units and N6.8 billion, respectively.
