UBA Unveils SME Card, Pledges Support for Small Businesses at Lagos International Trade Fair

United Bank for Africa (UBA) has launched a bespoke financial solution, the UBA SME Card, designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The card aims to empower business owners by providing seamless access to financing, efficient expense management, and exclusive benefits.

Shamsideen Fashola, Group Head, Retail and Digital Banking, UBA, announced the launch at the Lagos International Trade Fair, emphasizing the bank’s commitment to supporting SMEs. “We recognize the pivotal role SMEs play in driving economic growth and job creation,” Fashola said.

The UBA SME Card is part of the bank’s efforts to address the challenges faced by SMEs, including access to finance, digital tools, and continuous learning opportunities.

UBA has also partnered with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to sponsor the trade fair, providing a platform for businesses to connect, learn, and grow.

Additionally, UBA has launched the UBA Business Series, a platform dedicated to empowering business owners with insights, skills, and resources necessary for sustainable growth.
