SEC, NGX Engage Pan-Atlantic University Students on Investor Education

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) have collaborated to educate students of Pan-Atlantic University on the importance of investing in the capital market.

As part of activities marking the 2024 Investor Week, the SEC Director-General, Dr. Emomotimi Agama, led a team to the university to sensitize students on the benefits of investing.

The team included SEC’s Executive Commissioner, Operations, Mr. Bola Ajomale; Director, SEC, Mr. Tunde Kamali; and Head, Trading and Product, NGX, Abimbola Babalola.

The outreach aimed to promote financial literacy and encourage young investors to participate in the capital market.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, Rosemary Okolo, commended SEC and NGX for the initiative, emphasizing its significance in shaping the financial future of the students.

This engagement underscores SEC’s commitment to investor education and development of the Nigerian capital market.
