NGX All-Share Index Slides Further as Profit-Taking Continues

The Nigerian equities market extended its losing streak as the NGX All-Share Index declined by 31 basis points, closing at 97,830.65 points.

This downturn was largely driven by profit-taking in prominent stocks such as UBA, Guinness, NB, FBNH, DangSugar, Transcorp, AccessCorp, and GTCO.

Consequently, the year-to-date return settled at 30.84%, while the market capitalization decreased by N171.18 billion to N55.55 trillion.

Market activity was mixed, with a 5.34% increase in volume traded to 399.39 billion units, but an 8.11% decrease in value traded to N8.00 billion.
