The Lagos State Governor,Babajide Sanwo-olu would be gracing Independent Shareholders Association of Nigeria(ISAN)Conference tomorrow if all goes according to plan, even as Sir Sunny Nwosu is primed to be Chairman of the occasion.
However, the high point of the triennial conference would be the contest for the National Co-ordinator position where Reverend Anthony Omojola would be running for the prize alongside the incumbent Mr Adebiyi Adebisi who has run the association in the last three years.
The contest for positions, according to our investigation , is one of the things that make ISAN special in the domestic investors community as its one of the very few organisation which is democratic in its operation.
According to close sources to ISAN members who want a more inclusive and liberal leadership style will be voting for Omojola while those that want a strong leadership style will be voting for Adebisi.
Sources say that Sir Nwosu the founder of ISAN is not likely to intervene in any way as he is willing to go along with whoever is prefered by ISAN 10,000 members across the board. As they hinted “what he wants is peace, progress and some one with the ability to take ISAN to higher heights”.
Apparently Nwosu’s hands are full because despite his membership of boards of companies in the capital market and other positions in public sectors he is the current President of Boys Brigade Nigeria,in fact he has set a record as the first President of the Brigade in history to build a national secretariat for the organisation
